Then our flying back to Canada after that.
Don't worry Ghost, or Dad,
In a couple of years we'll be back. Perhaps
We'll shift our future leavings, better for you,
To The John Lennon Airport. No sitting there
Near the Liver Birds blowing your nose
In the drizzle with tears. The JLA
Has good snacks, newspapers with crosswords
To do, as well as catching sight of multitudes,
Mostly short stop-in-the-sun vacationers,
Coming home in droves. The name
Of the famous Beatle won't work you up.
Your head is singing in the Anglican Cathedral
And revering Gilbert Scott. You will see
Our way of leaving Liverpool is a newer,
Worldly mode of constant Coming Back.
