It's great too to hear the different accents and see people taking pics of their friends against backdrops that some of us take for granted - makes yer feel proud it does. Just hope the knuckle dragging hoodies don't spoil it by mouthing off to our foreign friends as to hear some, they're the causes of all evils.
Tis good to see this happening here :PDT11
If you go to Anfield on match day you get a good mixture of foreign and all over the UK accents :unibrow: ( prepares for the replies :Colorz_Grey_PDT_16:)
You don't have to go all the way to Anfield for that Spike. Listen to the fans result forecasts on the radio just before kick off, it's very colourful, it's getting hard to distinguish the Cornish from the Danish these days. ;) It's why the kop's so quiet these days, only the Swedish sing in true British - like Abba and Roxette :)
Ha Ha footy gets them posting :PDT_Aliboronz_24:

I find most things funny, but not under age kids. Darn creeps if that is true.
15 year old girl in Geds link about pink.
There are some Bouncers who are nothing but fat sleaze bags. There is some good lads on the doors who are true professionals and gentlemen, and they will tell you themselves some are nothing but lowlife scum that should not be there. There was mean't to crackdown via the SIA licence.
Agree most doormen are nice blokes who do a good job.
We hear the saying, a few bad apples, and I have seen with my own two eyes these rotten fruits punch and gang attack fellas who didn't leave the club quick enough, spill a drink or got carried away on the dancefloor and took their shirts off. I have also seen girls or women being punched by these thugs. Now I know women can be just as bad as men, but I have seen on more than one occasion a women tell a doorman to eff off for grabbing her only to get a smack of him. I should report each incident I know, but then you have to make the statement, point the finger and risk getting in deep yourself if you do.
I have also witnessed a particular doorman throwing sly digs at lads who are leaving the club, he got me a few years ago, and me and my mate saw him a month or two ago doing it to someone else. The guy he did it to stood on the club steps and asked him to come and do it to his face, the coward who digged him told to step off the step, next minute there was 5 other doorman on the fella. Now it could be the other doorman involved were unaware of this particular doormans antics, but I have heard from so many lads who happen to know him say hes done it to them or to their mates over the years that its got to be common knowledge to the other doorman.
But on the other side of the coin, there is a few cracking lads on the doors, always get the same ones on certain bars and they crack a joke rather than your jaw. These men I always try to think of when the word Doorman gets used, but it is difficult.

A fancy dress party from the weekend at Osqas in Oldham street where around 40 guests out of the 80 or so made a gallant and colourful effort. These are just some of them.
It was for my cousins 50th and was like a two dogs fightin' meets the Violent Playground as there were quite a few Huyton and Ex Gerard Gardens partygoers.
Real one off people photos around town - I mean, they'll never dress like this again :)

It was my old boss, Peter's retirement last night after 50 years in Shipping from a 15 year year old office junior in World Transport Agencies in Hackins Hey, the building being demolished in the 80s - to MD of his own company which I became a director of. 99-101 Dale Street was our base from 1977 to 1994 (mine from 1980 when I joined - until 94) which was handy for me living just down the road in Trueman Street so who was it who only made it into work on a few occassions during the bad snow.
Anyway, here's a few snaps.
For old times sake..........

Old workmate Ronnie warning any woman after his body that his nether regions may contain nuts..... I would have thought 'Will' contain nuts would have been more appropriate but I don't know him THAT well ;)
This was after a pint in Ye hole in Ye wall, a trip back to Hackins Hey for Peter.

The Mandarin was always a favourite of ours when wining and dining the customers though it was further along on the other side of the road back then. So off to the New Mandarin it was.
