The Grapes Pub, Kensington

Hi

does anyone know anything about Mary and Harold who ran The Grapes pub in Kensington, Liverpool in the 1950's/60's. It's gone now but they are relatives and I would like to get in touch with them or any of their relatives.

To jog memories, Harold was quite quiet and originally from Merseyside, Mary, real name Maria, was a short fiery Austrian woman who used to stand on a crate behind the bar so she could grab unruly customers and bar them :-)

They had two sons, Harold, who went by the name John in the 60's but was later known as Alex by his friends, and his younger brother William, Billy.

If anyone has any information, any at all, that would be great
