A few I took from inside the bell tower, and from its roof. Can I post these here?
These were taken on a Mobile phone, which I'm very pleased about!

Superb - I was there with Molly and Gerry a few weeks ago and they loved it. Thanks for sharing the pickies.
As Steven said we where there a week ago and it was amazing. Definately had the WOW factor.
nice photees you guys, like the one inside the bell tower, it,s a cracker. Quite spooky in there isn,t it Corky?:handclap:
quite surprised at the greeness around the cathedral, I never remembered it like quite likethis although there were gardens, has it been developed within the last 20 years, a lot of the buildings around do look new, it looks nice, the last memory I have of the cathedral is driving along the street in front of it one evening on my way to the liverpool marina on a trip back with my brother, and waiting to turn right into parliament street, and being asked by a prostitute if we wanted any business, it is a lovely place though,
A bit of video:

A little bit of information on the Bells:
Cast in 1966 by Mears & Stainbank, the 4 bells are swung by a chain driven motor but can also be chimed by a rope on special occasions.
"Matthew" - its weight at 91cwt 2qrt 6lbs (over 10cwt heavier than the heaviest ringing bell at Liverpool Cathedral).
The view below of Matthew showing the top of the 6ft red door for comparison.

Did you see the pic of the bell close up and then being lifted into position Cad?

Nice pics Corky100. That Anglican sure is a beast and i'm glad it ended up with one central tower rather than the 2 originally planned which incidentally is in a painting in the walker art gallery that was completed using the architects plans.
Impressive pics Corky. Very good. :)
