Liverpool students Rag weeks

Some of our older members might remember the students Panto and Rag weeks held in all major cities which seems to have died a death recently.
This is an old pic of a float by Liverpool students going along St Georges Place. I think denoting the space race. Notice the staff of one of the hotels
at the windows. The shop behind looks good advertising Players cigs,steam baths and slimming couches.
This is one of my first photos ever and taken with the old plastic Ilford Envoy
camera and developed by the local chemist shop. I`ve scanned the original
enprint snap
