Aye, Quincy, fine photograph but I think we should move it elsewhere to another thread. As the instructions for this thread state, "The aim is to capture and post 366 (leap year) pictures of Liverpool and Merseyside throughout 2008."

statue in Sefton Park
Sefton Park, Liverpool. Nobody seems to have told the duck about the thin ice !! The park is undergoing extensive renovation at the moment with many trees being chopped down. This is causing great concern amongst many people.

Re: Sefton park pic. That pile of rocks looks like the site of one of the fountains. I've seen something similar on old postcards.

taken last week during a lull in the storms. I could hardly stand by the Pier Head, Mersey was really choppy, then came around to this. it was the colour of the water that really caught my eye.

The George Pub, St Mary's Rd Garston. This pub is now up for let again. Let's hope this delightful building survives as a pub.

Gradwell Street which runs between Hanover St and Wolstenholme Square. A little bit of history amongst the new concrete, steel and glass going up at the bottom of the street.
