something like this - a street in Anfield.
Exactly what I'm looking for....
In 30 years time ex residents of these streets might be looking for photos of where they once lived saying 'do you remember we had all those deckies out for the World Cup in 2010.
All of these are near County Road, Liverpool 4.

There's a cpl of houses by mine that are all done up too. Does the same apply to England flags on houses for that text joke doing the rounds ?
Not World cup related but lets hope the streets are at least like this in 2 years time for the Queens jubilee :)

Croppers garage - - our family use them for car repairs, MOT's etc, they are a good garage and don't rip you off.

Thanks - I'm still struggling to understand why it's England [St. George's flag] at the World Cup; and Great Britain [Union Jack] at the Olympics?
No wonder we don't win much at sports, we can't decide which country we are? :(
Coz the olympics is GB and Ireland and in footy the countries that makes up GB have their own association, much to FIFA and UEFA's annoyance :)

If we're making up the rules why don't we play as the UK instead of GB, then Scotland won't hate us as much at footy? I bet they were all wearing USA shirts yesterday.
Because we'd lose members on the FIFA and UEFA boards and also end up with a UK league rather than English and Scottish and hence less places in Europe
Plus the scots wouldn't support the team when it won't have any of their players in it :)

Great pics Lindy. Very colourful. I believe some streets off Knowsley Road, Bootle are all decked out too.

I think most people take it as a compliment for all their effort. I've only been accosted once in the Pitt st area when some lad thought I was a snooper from the soash. It was a good job I had my brown pants on. ;)
I took photos of the Valley pub, I waited until no-one was around then got my camera out .......when a lorry went past me & beeped his horn at me.....I wish I was wearing brown kecks :D
