It came as a bit of a surprise to find such a derelict building in this part of town.
Does anybody know if there's a story behind this?

On the corner where the new flats are there used to be a huge old pub building, it had not been used as that even when I lived around there from the early fifties. It had the name built into the brick, I can't remember what it was though. A car dealer, Bill Coxon used to sell cars from there, I think he owned the petrol station too. My first car came from there, that is it you see in my avatar. :037:

I just clicked that link and got a survey pop up on the icliverpool site. It doesn't give me the option to close it so I started doing it. It asked my age group and then where do I live. the drop down lists the counties but there's no Merseyside or even Liverpool !!!!!!
