Hi Lindylou, just thinking about posting the Lakes thread when yours appeared. I had a month in the Lakes on the Duke of Edinbourgh O B M Course
in 1955 I`ve been in love with them ever since, so much so my wife says if
the district had been a woman I`d have married it. I have longed to live up there. We moved to a new house over 40 years and guess what the whole estate is called after the lake names so I can now say I do live in the lake
district.
To keep Kev smiling heres the Langdale Pikes I know it`s not Langdale St.
aah, that's nice that you ended up in 'the lake district' after all :unibrow: ... sort of - it must have been fate :D
Nice photo.
Lovely pic as usual GD :PDT11

There are loads of streets in Norris Green named after places in/around the Lake District - Branstreee Avenue, Scargreen Avenue, Dunnerdale Road, Oxenholme Crescent for example.
