Great pics mate!!!
Brings back memories of my childhood..........sagging school, trying to rob models from City Models.......looking for coppers in the public phone boxes...and visiting Blacklers to ride the huge rocking horse!!! Quality!!! :-)
Hi All,
My navigation may be a wee bit out,was Blacklers further up the road. Then right opposite Blacklers was a Big Butchers Shop. Was it called W.H.Brabins.Ifit was thats where my Dad worked before the war and I think he got the job about 1936.My Mum cried I can remember because he had managed to get a job.A year or two later he came home with this quite big photo of the Brabins staff all in front of the shop.Don't know what happened to the one we had.Hope some one might recall it it was in sepia.Hope my navigation is right.Great site Love it.Best Regards Ken B :PDT_Aliboronz_24:
