The 'Pool of Life
I thought I'd started one of these before. Anyway, after a forum search I couldn't find one. Lets post our images of Liverpool people, past and present, ones taken with your own camera, nothing from the city archives, they can be displayed in the Liverpool Past section.
City shopping scenes, gatherings, sporting events etc....

photos
Smashings photos all, of our vibrant and patriotic city. Like the snap of Queen Square Gerard, nice new view of our "Parisian" quarter.
-
I like Gerard's 3rd photo the best - Parker st. I like the light in trees, the canopy over the shops makes an interesting shady area, then the bright red of the LFC colours sets it all off.
Very nice Gerard. :)

Holy Roller.

When I asked him if abstaining from alcohol, drugs and women would make me live longer he said no, it'd just seem that way.
-
I like those footy shots Kev. I was out too yesterday but I felt too self-concious about pointing my big ass DSLR at people so I only really got 1 good photo. You did better than me! :p

Years ago when my kids were small, we were at the Kennedy Space Center, there was a spacesuit for the kids to pose by for pics, my youngest lad about pooed himself, we didn't know there was a fella inside and it grabbed him and gave him a hug, scared the hell out of him but it made a great picture, I have looked for it and don't have it anymore unfortunately.
