Smart photos. :)
Nice one gregs dad, I lived in Faulkner Street many years back, great to see the place :)
Great Photos!
Black & White really does add a atmospheric quality to some photographs, many thanks for sharing them.

More great pic's Joe! I would live round there,if property prices hadn't gone up so much!! (Some good pub's too!)
My gran was in service in Gambier Terrace for the Holt Family.
I worked on the house in Little Canning St with the lamp and 'Cathedral Mansions' on the corner of Huskinsson.
One of my mates lives in Hussikinson St. It took him 15 years to scrape back the original coving in the house. I would of rather moved!! Everything he does has to be exactly as it was when it was first built. The house is huge and there's three floors. Nice place.
Canning is a fantastic area. I wish those wheelie bins weren't out though and those pics could be from another era. :handclap:

Pity about that modern block of flats,at the end, wasn't there a church there, not so long ago?

Ashfield Cottages in 1902 with the inside of one of them, When I came across these it brought back memories of my old street as we had a similar back kitchen and toilet,we also had a coal place in the same room.
Our street was built as luxury flats.
