Does anyone have any photo,s of horse drawn vehicles.
I remember seeing the John Mason,s pantechnicon removals van and a 2 wheeled single horse bakers van on display in the basement of the museum.
Any pics would be grateful.

Thanks mate I have come across these before, all good stuff.
I know the John Mason wagon you are on about though in the old Museum basement, have JM got a website with any of their yesteryear vehicles on?

They dont seem to have anything but a business site.
I suppose this fantastic article must be held in storage or loaned out to another museum.
Its a shame we have so much riches in this department that we see very little of them.
There's links to 20 different sites of Liverpool photos here:

Hopefully there's something.
Hi Norm
Thanks for model pics, I have collected those in the past and made some 4mm OO gauge models also.
In the throws of building O gauge horse drawn models with a view to building a diorama of 1890s Liverpool.
Hence the need for pics, some of which I have aquired but would still like more.
Some more here:

Hi xkopite! See Kev's come up trumps with the pics! Good luck with your diorama. If you need any pics of the 'models of yesterday' vehicles (Not horsedrawn) let me know, I can add as attachments. Cheers:PDT_Aliboronz_24:
