hi Colin, any pics of the old southern hospital, i worked there for a while in the early seventies as an agency nurse

What was the Southern Hospital ? wasn't the one at the back of the Royal is it?

Remember going there as a kid to see the site for sore eyes ie St Pauls Eye ozzie and getting me some Harry Potter specs.

The Southern was somewhere down past St James st way I think - I can't remember exactly, but you know somewhere down Dingle/Park place way.

Caryl St. Davec mentions the location above. It was near to Caryl Gardens.

That was the Bibby H/O, designed by the architect of the Royal Liver Building - W Aubrey Thomas.

Hah,I see,did not know of this hospital...Iwas thinking the old royal.

i think it was known as the royal southern hospital, i worked on the psychy unit, very, very small but a lovely place
