Thanks for your kind comments folks ,here is a few more taken yesterday.
It`s a good job I`ve gone digital, I`d have no pension left with the number of pics I`m taking nowadays.
Joe,
The colours are so intense for Stanley Dock bridge. Did you use a filter or have you enhanced them on the computer, or is what you see what you get?
If guessing, I'd say a polarising filter was used.
Brilliant pics - all of 'em.
Cracker pics GD:handclap:Very well captured.:PDT_Piratz_26:
Thanks Kevin, I upload all my pics to Picasa the free software site were you can tweek you pics, with that particular pic I darkened it.
The camera for 99% of my pics I use is little Lumix LZ2 compact with no facilities for filters.
I also have a Canon 350d slr which my children bought me but it has a 75-300 lens which makes it a bit heavy when I go on my walkabouts so I rarely use it.
I have been dropping hints I need a 50mm lens for Xmas
I thought they had plans for the tobacco warehouse. :ninja:
They did, as apartments but the low ceilings on each floor meant the demolition of same at every other level to accommodate the height which meant the plans have been shelved for a while as studies are going on. Another idea was to crate a central space with the apartment going around the perimeter but there's been no recent news. It'll mean the end for the heritage market of course.
Good pics Kev.
