The Gathering 2009 - The Big L8 Lunch Sunday 19th July 09

The Gathering is a truly unique and FREE multi cultural community event held in the heart of Liverpool which last year attracted over 5000 people. As part of this year's Gathering event we are working in partnership with The Eden Project as part of the The Big Lunch and we will be holding the Big, Big L8 Lunch on Princes Boulevard. we are inviting communities to come together, share food, stories and celebrate on July 19th as a simple but profound act of community. We are hoping to organise the biggest tea party and lunch the city has ever seen!
As part of 2009 Year of the Environment we are also holding a recycling market to raise awareness of the environment.
This is a wonderful opportunity for local organisations to raise their profile and network in our cultural marketplace and community event.
