Sir Joe Dwyer
Sir Joe Dwyer studied Civil Engineering at Liverpool John Moores University. His career started with George Wimpey Plc in 1955 as a Junior Engineer, and progressed through to his retirement in June 1999 as Group Chairman. He is currently President of the Institute of Civil Engineers. As Chairman of the British Contractors Group Sir Joe oversaw the construction of the Channel Tunnel, and constructed the world's largest concrete oil drilling platform at Hibernia Field, Canada, he is presently Chairman of Liverpool Vision
