Looks nice Taffy, as do all the recents photo's of Liverpool, posted by all you guys on Yo! It's hard for me to relate to some of the area's shown in the pics , so much different from what I remember back in the 50's. But must say that the city and all the area's shown are looking great!!! so much better than what I remember it to be.:PDT11
Thanks Steve! I peruse all the Liverpool sites, and enjoy them all! especially the photo's. not having any real problems, it's just that things have changed so much I find it hard to relate to some of those well known area's. The pic that Taffy posted just this day, of Dingle waterfront area is .nothing' like what i remember, and I knew the area very well! having driven taxis' from both Lark Lane and South Hill Street fo some years! So keep on with the pics all of you! Its great for me, and I appreciate all the efforts, Cheers:PDT_Aliboronz_24:
Grassendale Esplanade, Garston, Liverpool.
Do you remember this one Norm NZ? Shouldn't think it's changed much since you left Liverpool.
Bethesda Fountain also known as the Angel of the Waters.

Thanks Taffy! I sure do remember it, and yes! it has'nt changed much. I used to mate with a school friend who lived in Salisbury Rd Grassendale, and we roamed around that area quite a bit.:PDT11
And for George: Can't say I do! but that work may have started sometime later, OR was further up towards Aigburth? Cheers:PDT_Aliboronz_24:

Rainy day in Williamson Square,yesterday
The rainy day picture explains the boat in the previous one - they're building an ark!
Upper Stanhope Street, Toxteth. This building's a rare survival of the original Harrington laid out with wide streets for the affluent to buy their building plots and develop an exclusive community. It was not to be long lasting and the area deteriorated.
Hi Taffy,
dont suppose you've any older pic's of Stanhope st.?
World Museum Liverpool
Another fine pic Lenka. Nice one.:PDT11
View from the window to inner garden of Victoria Gallery.
Another nice picture, where's the Victoria Gallery?
Interior view of Liverpool Town Hall. This room was designed as the large Ballroom. Let's hope Delboy and Rodney don't get the job of cleaning the chandeliers. These chandeliers apparently weigh 1 ton each and were installed in 1820.
What a beautiful building and a lovely photo taffy :handclap::handclap:
Great picture Taffy, even nicer than I remember. Haven't been in there since the 60's.
