I suppose its a case of low maintenance = less staffing, what I did find is the heavy mob ie guys in suits and ties looking like retired door bouncers patrolling the parks grounds.

This is not a pic of the day,GerogrieBoy...its Jimmy Corkills brookside gaff.
It's ok. As far as I know Pic of the day can be anything depicting Liverpool/Merseyside.
You could even post a picture of a random L'pool street or house taken with your own camera and still be within the rules. Any pic is better than no pic at all. :)

What an odd light Kev. All that iron work of the end of the pier seems painted on and whatever it is it won't get lost as it is chained-up as well as much else.
Great pic' Kev'!
Nice Pic! but what's the windsock for? seaplanes !!!:PDT_Aliboronz_11:
When I used to work on the IOM ships,Norm...I tossed a piece of paper over the side before I spat. :)
'Pollution of the river Eh!!! "The quality of the 'Mersey' is not strained:!!!!":unibrow:
Excellent Leon. :handclap:
I thought I was back on EasyJet there for a mo.
Is this not part of the "guess the location" thread Leon? Must I cast my ignorance at your feet once more and plead for enlightenment?
[the jet-engine bit I can get all by myself, thank you :)]
Great pic of the Runcorn Bridge ( oudeis ) Leon,
Mart
Thanks all. It's not too busy right now...

I was at the Lucky Bar in D.C. yesterday to see Liverpool beat Man City 3-0. A new flat panel TV had been put up partly overhanging the passageway to the back of the bar. I noticed that the management had put up a buffer underneath the TV to prevent knuckleheads from banging their heads on the screen. http://farm5.static.flickr.com/4041/...41c08c0d_o.gif
