Summers Family
Hi, I am in search of my great grandmother BRIDGET SUMMERS, she was married to a Thomas Peers, painter and decorator (both parents of my nana, Lilian Askew, nee Peers). Bridget used to work as a Druggist in Liverpool and before she married was living at home with her widowed mother, Ellen. Her father's name was Lawrence Summers. I am not certain if they were both born in Westmeath, Ireland. Can anyone help me please? Thanks.
Best wishes,
Danbi

Hi Dot, thanks for this info. my nana did mention that she had an uncle called Matthew, wow, that's great news, thanks ever so much for your kindness - might be able to find out a lot more soon. Wish there were some photos of Bridget's younger days and her siblings, parents but of course my nana did not have any with her being the youngest one in her family. I used to travel by train to Liverpool with my nana and brother to stay with her older sister, Nellie (Ellen) and her family on a holiday. I was really young at that time so I cannot remember that much about Liverpool though my nana never forgot her roots or her favourite Liverpool.
