Pavement Artists!
I dont go into town much, lately, and miss seeing things like street musicians, etc! Does anyone remember this guy,who did amazing copies of Grimshaw pictures of Liverpool? It was sometime in the 80's,I think? Anyone else got any,as I remember a few good one's, who were around then, and later!

Thats the work of "John Atkinson Grimshaw" 1836 to 1893
I would find doing street art a very pointless exercise as it only needs some rain and its gone.
I know the guy is trying to make a little money.

Bloody Hell. Had completely forgotten about this guy. His drawings were brilliant but I don't think I really appreciated how good they were at the time.

He's good but he ain't that good, the road was cobbled in grimshaws piece,he's just thrown in a load of lines.
Mind you though I'm not ****ging the guy down but Pastles are very easy to draw with, and I find any artist that has to drop down to this level is one that can't make the grade as an artist.
I as an artist do have the right to critique. :unibrow:

I thought,all that work,and effort......then it's gone!!! But it does look like he's just made,at least 20p!:handclap:

Thing is with our silly laws, these artist cannot setup shop like they do in spain and draw your portrait for a few pesetas?
