Website events
Hi All
I was contacted by a number of people asking to use bits from the Wartime Website for the 70th Anniversary of the May Blitz.
Things may or may not come off. Im at a loss as to what is being used and what is not anymore.
Liverpool Echo say they are using the Mill Road Hospital story in their May Blitz special edition. If they have room they may use a few other stories.
Merseytravel are using the list of Liverpool war dead from the May Blitz at the Woodside Ferry terminal as part of the WW2 Submarine exhibition. They have had trouble with the printers so a typed copy is going up this weekend and the printed version next week.
I did an interview with the BBC about Mill Road Hospital for their News Website. They said it should come up online in the first week of May. They told me the Website will be mentioned on radio Merseyside shows during the week.
Most important of all is to Remember those that died in May 1941.
1st May marks the 70th anniversary of the start of the May Blitz.
Please remember them.

Liverpool Blitz 70 asked if they could use some stories for the website for their own one.
I noticed that they have. They have also reworded them a little and give no credit to my website...Charming.
I will be in town tomorrow and will pay a visit to that stall of theirs.

Let us know what they say. They should have given the website a mention.
