Nice photo Joe. It looks like giants walking with their pigs.
I can't see it Joe.
now i can :PDT11
Look at the date it was posted Kev
My vote: Mural...
It took a lot of work to paint that.. Sort of historical..in showing people coming to a place to settle.. Interesting and colorful.. better than blick..
I'd say a murial,too!:smirk:
Whatever is it, it's much better than the stuff on the shops u posted the other day. I didn't think much of that
that was the view from my window when I lived in Petton Street
it was painted on the side of the substation that George posted
http://www.yoliverpool.com/forum/showthread.php?t=18500 ,I think may have something to do with laundry as the Fred Robinson bagwash stood next to the substation
There's this one on the corner of Rydal st ( off Thirlmere rd) L5
Think I posted this pic somewhere else on the forum.
I like them.
That's a good one Lindy. Like 'em meself too. Should be more of them. Have you seen Banksys work around London. They are excellent.
Yes, Banksy's work is good.
I like em (as long as we don't start getting Beatle ones everywhere or even worse..Llambananas:PDT10)
It would be great if we could get someone like Julian Beever to do a few of his fine works of art around the city (My brother tried to get this guy here for the Capitol Of Culture but things didn't happen!).
If you don't know who Julian Beever is then check this out....

Mural and I like it. It is art for sure.
I am a big Julian Beever admirer for years.
Zap, what's up with the Lambananas? I thought it was the best deal of Capitol of Culture.
4-2008 posted??? Crazy, we're only seeing it now.. But, think Mandy is right..After viewing it again.. It is about the washing.. Good art..and keeps things not boring... I do like that Julian Beever artist also.. very good indeed..
Such as a very interesting post, and sort of historical painting.
Definitely a mural and a very nice one, too. I think this type of wall painting helps enliven a neighborhood. Such murals can be both fun and educational, so I would like to see more of them.
Fine photograph, Joe, as ever. :handclap:
Cheers

During the Brooklyn Museum exhibition Graffiti, the Museum has asked visitors to contribute designs inspired by the works of graffiti on a wall in the gallery designated. These photographs document the progress of the mural museum during the exhibition week.
There's definitely a message to that colourful mural & I like it ,even if I dont fully get the message ! I fully agree with Zappa re the beatles & lambananas though, thought it was quite daft !
