CP - when you've made as many errors as I have over the years, failing to acknowledge then would be rather pointless. To be fair, I'm not always so cooperative - I can be as stubborn as anyone! But I do try to fight that tendency.
Kevin, thanks for that mate..taking the time to let me know..
its no prob Kev... if and when, your priorities are the main thing...
Thanks again Kevin... :PDT11

Golconde by Rene Magritte (1953)
Magritte was a bit of a maverick who produced thought-provoking images. I wonder who that reminds me of...
;-)
Rainy Night in Liverpool,TOP SHOT Gerard
Yeah, Spiderman's right - it does remind you of that. Brilliant :handclap:

Re: post 962
Gerard,
I'm afraid it's usually the priorities of others that I'm subject to. A week on Friday I should be in The Adelphi, then The Crown, for the annual Harrison Line reunion. Instead of which I'll be in Portugal - the second year running I've had to miss the reunion. Each year there are fewer of us left so it's important to see people while they're still with us.
Come on Gerard, we are waiting for a pic. Yer slow today mate. lol
Thanks Savo.. that's much appreciated..
Gerard.

Kevin..
I hope you have a great time in Portugal..
I gather like my eldest Son you are teacher.. I know how bloody hard my lad works..
you enjoy your break Kevin, I've no doubt you deserve it...
Thanks Kevin..
Gerard..
Just a note for anyone who has not seen it, Gerard kindly sent me a copy of his fine photograph "2 Birds a Daffodil and a Queen" which I used on my blog where I posted some thoughts about the Sixties music scene on Merseyside. Thanks again for the use of piccy, Gerard!
All the best
Chris
Thanks for that Linda...
If I'm honest Linda I have to say I'm not really into art and exhibitions...
I have not got a clue what I'm looking at.. and I dont mind admitting that..
I like the odd little painting maybe, here and there..
If my work is not in any of these exhibitions you wont find me anywhere near them...
unless its at a gallery/exhibition that involves photographer/artist friends of mine....
you definately wont find me going all laaaaa de darrrrr and acting soft staring at some of the sh*** that is called art.. not on your nelly girl.. lol

Yet more excellent pics Gerard :handclap: Your night shots seem to have a very special aura about them. At risk of appearing sexist I must say I found the third one extremely interesting  There is certainly no shortage of very beautiful woman here in our city !

Excellent pics again.
Last night I was out with my camera and I said to Debz "am gonna do a few Gerard Flemo photies. I took loads of pics and was looking forward to seeing them on the pc when I got in. Bah,:PDT_Xtremez_42: what a load of crap. Everyone of the "people" shots was absolute dire.
Gerard, don't know how you make them so interesting and look so good but well done. I mean it, I know how hard it is (oooer missus) to take a photo that say's something.
Well in mate. Keep up the good work. :handclap:
Great photos again Gerard :PDT_Aliboronz_24:
(This is one place where Wsteve won't post over me.) lol
I like this thread very much. :PDT11
Well said Chris. :handclap:
I'm made up with that John mate..thanks for that... :PDT11
The comments left by the same few on this, my photo thread.. has not gone un-noticed John..
As for those that dont comment on here... that tells its own tale to me mate...
I must have posted a 'Well Done' or 'Thats a nice photo' to all the arty/photographer type on here.. my comments have been ignored, or unanswered...
and the same people I've left comments for on their work cant find it in themselves to leave a single comment on my photos.. in all the time I've been on here..
That mate.. tells me more than any comment left on any of my photos...
It tells my a lot about the class of person they are....
Ta John.... :PDT11
Gerard.
Great stuff once more, Gerard. On the art front - no expert but I'm at the Degas exhibition in London tomorrow and I do like his efforts!
The best of the best lindy !
