Excellent Phil, I forgot it was June lol.
Could you see a lot of it?
Not really, Kev.
The glass is only about 2 feet wide and you have to move around to get a better idea of the layout.
I think the idea was to show the full height of it.
What we can see is the NE corner (I think!).
The Hilton Hotel is on a lot of the site of the old dock.
That's the first very good picture I have seen of the old dock viewing window. Well done indeedy, PG.

at least they have had the foresight to allow us to glimpse even a bit of it.
most constructors would have covered it completely.
it's really tough to see it during the day as the light reflects off the glass and all you can see are the reflections of the people looking down.
It also looks like the view of the moon from the sapce shuttle up in space!
qg.
There are still reflections to avoid.
Most noticeably, the strip lights from John Lewis.
ADW.
Thanks, but it's early days yet!
Kev.
I thought it has an outer space look, too.
I almost posted this shot.

Glad you all liked the photo of "man at work". It was too good a shot not to take. Fortunately the zoom on my Sony H9 enabled me to take it at a safe distance !!!

It must be bad it is driving him up the wall!!!
Thank you Carole.
I was walking down (or is it up?) North John Street, and one end landed right on top of the new John Lewis store.
I looked left down Harrington Street and saw St Johns Tower like this, the other end of the rainbow.

not a patch on Tony's rooftop effort admittedly, but it's a pleasant view.
