Oh so is thaaaaat what that building is.. my wife used to work next door in the NHS building and I'd always wondered, thought it was an old school. Shame it's derelict - are there any plans for it?

Good picture Ged.
Queen Victoria visited it 1886 (she stayed at the Judge's residence on Judge's Drive). I heard it was to be demolished and apartments built on the site. Don't know if that is going to happen though. I could tell you a few stories about the place that would make your hair stand on end...
Thanks. More details on it here:

marky.that's very good. How long has it been there?Who did it ?
^ I don't know who did the sculpture. The tree was cut down about 4 years ago, I think. It used to be surrounded by its' own railings, all on its' own.
Excellent pic Marky:handclap:

Good picture. I have passed that building so many times and yet I have never noticed the Liver bird. It's quite prominent too :PDT_Xtremez_42:

I'm coming back to Liverpool next weekend and I hope to get some more pictures for my collection.
You'll have to watch the clock to sneak in with them on POD :unibrow:
.. yet there have been some days when we have none at all being posted and we have to scatch around for some. It's the luck of the draw sometimes. :)
I have plenty of ignored pics Gerry, cheers for yours :PDT11
But the quality of the great pictures is worth being beaten to the post for me.
