Presumably that was the one you could visit in the Birkenhead Docks a few years ago.
Wasn't there a campaign to keep it open, that looked like failing?
Anyone know what happened to it in the end?
I've seen another shot of this, taken from the same vantage point, but the Liver clock says 12.44 I think.
I doubt if the u-boat pictured ever became a visitor attraction,most captured WW1 u-boats were broken up for scrap by the allies.Quote:
