I think from the 'Liverpoolians' thread we've basically established that there is no set critera for being 'a scouser'.
I suppose the question is then... do you consider yourself a scouser?
I consider myself to be a scouse and working class. I have heard from certain quarters that Lennon wasn't working class. Perhaps because he was more class conscious than some :PDT_Xtremez_12:

Lennon wrote "Working Class Hero" but he was brought up in a solidly middle class environment at "Mendips" on Menlove Avenue by his Uncle George and Aunt Mimi. Didn't his uncle own a dairy? Also attending Quarry Bank High School he mixed with other middle class boys.

Lennon is also on record on a U.S. chat show saying he was middle class. I'm not sure Working Class hero is meant to be totally autobiographical.
