they are down a passage next to St Stephens church, opposite Belle Vale School.
They are called Church Cottages.
AND I WAS BORN THERE :)
does anyone know if the houses in Winfrith Rd, Lee Park are still standing as my grandparents lived there for 40 odd years,I'm not sure if my mum was born there & I'd love to go & take some photos of there & St Stephens church where my mum & dad got married

The stain glass windows in St. Stephens are worth a lot of money. They were made by a famous stainglass window maker.
Belle Vale and Gateacre are two different area's. Belle Vale is classed as the area 1/2 way down Childwall valley Road (just before the Highwayman Pub) and reaches up by Wheat Hill Road in one direction and Kings Drive in the other.
Gateacre's original name was Little Woolton and Woolton was once named Much Woolton (and still is by those who knew it as Much Woolton).
