A great example of the contrast between old and modern. The old fashioned university buildings is architecturally a delight. The new Heating Infrastructure Project Building sticks out like an unpleasant eyesore. The contrast is shocking.

Marine Engine Room Men memorial, Pierhead, Liverpool. Also felt to be originally a memorial to the lost Titanic engine room men. Isle of Man Ferry and Fred Olsen Lines cruise ship Black Watch in the background
New Sony Centre, Liverpool 1 shopping complex. Interesting shop specialising only in Sony products. Nice to see this old building has been preserved for modern use including the American Eagle
