Oh so is thaaaaat what that building is.. my wife used to work next door in the NHS building and I'd always wondered, thought it was an old school. Shame it's derelict - are there any plans for it?

Queen Victoria visited it 1886 (she stayed at the Judge's residence on Judge's Drive). I heard it was to be demolished and apartments built on the site. Don't know if that is going to happen though. I could tell you a few stories about the place that would make your hair stand on end...:shock:

^ I don't know who did the sculpture. The tree was cut down about 4 years ago, I think. It used to be surrounded by its' own railings, all on its' own.
