Some real good lads on the buses, but I sometimes wonder how when some of them got made up to "checkers" or dragulars as you called them, they seemed to change from mates into jobsworths? Good ol' days they were, I thoroughly enjoyed my time on the back......except for the time I was attacked by a gang of half drunk louts outside Widnes Town Hall, bus stop in Victoria Square, off work for a week after that.
Glad that tickled your fancy lindylou it's funny now but at the time and grekko will tell you that was a instant dismissal

yes we had a bloke he was everybody's mate, driver's used to like working with him (f, but then he was offered a job as you say a checker his popularty went down very quick so within a month he was back on the back, but he decided it wasn't the same it so he left, Widnes town hall now that brings back memories, I didn't know Crosville serviced that area?
MrsLou wasn't laughing at what you postedQuote:

It's Ged's one liners that have been making me laugh :)
I was reading an article in which the drug/medication Risperidone, was mentioned as an effective treatment for mental and nervous disorders. After reading up a bit on it and the different types of people who receive benefit from having it prescribed, and whereby it helped changed their outlook on life , it set me thinking.................so why then isn't it given to miserable old f*rts? Should an e-petition be started ?

I like that....total honesty......I'll see if I can get you a prescription.
Thanks Gp, very kind, but don't fret I'll make sure there's enough for you also, would'nt want to deny those in need.
