I reckon my grandads house off Stalmine (Firdale) was pretty old, always felt ancient anyway!
I used to live in Grey Road, Liverpool 9, off Rice Lane, between Walton Hospital and Hornby Road where Walton Prison is. There were quite a few large old houses, some of which appeared pretty old. Walton Park and Grey Road particularly

Nice one WW. Think that's the oldest church around aint it.
Amazing and much applaus:handclap: to those builders of yesteryears... What great construction went into those structures, to still be standing.
Without all the equipment like today, these stone massons and architects and labor...had it down right... ta Waterways.. nice..
I'm going to be a bit pedantic here, but you've made an common error.
The first image doesn't actually show Birkenhead Priory. The ruins (and the tower) shown in the picture are that of St. Marys Church built by Thomas Rickman in 1821. The church was built alongside the ruins of the old priory and it's easy to get confused. It was partially demolished in 1975 leaving what you can see today.
I'm not sure about the second image. It could be part of the medieval undercroft now used as a chapel but the sonework looks too good to be medieval, unless it was part of the recent restoration. It's been a while since I've visited the priory site.
I like it when your pedantic..LOL
Oldest house in Fazakerley (maybe)....
