Also Robert Gascoyne Cecil Marquis of Salisbury, prime minister 1886-92 and 1895-1902, gives rise to Salisbury Road (Wavertree & Anfield), Salisbury Street (Everton), Cecil Street (Wavertree), Cranbourne Road (Wavertree) - in honour of his sons title, Viscount Cranbourne, Alderson Road (Wavertree) - in honour of his wife Georgina Alderson and Childwall Avenue (Wavertree) after Childwall Hall which his family owned.
