I was just wondering what the best Digital Camera is that snaps widescreen images, like the pic at the top of the page???? of Liverpool...... Thanks |

I don't know of any digital cameras that shoot widescreen. Most compacts shoot with an aspect ratio of 4:3 (pointless, in my opinion) whilst DSLRs use the more traditional 3:2 ratio. Long thin images will most often be cut out of a more square image, or created by 'stitching' together a number of individual exposures. BTW, the picture at the top of the page is shown at random from a selection, so it's impossible to tell which one you mean. Can you describe it? |

There was many years ago a Panoramic camera, but as Snappel says the elongated pic,s you mention are a series of shots stuck together to produce the panorama view. Try it start with 2 pic,s and try joining them |
