Nothing as yet but next years pops are going to be better with our new arena being completed,we'll get much bigger acts then.

Summer Pops are scrapped

LIVERPOOL’S Summer Pops which brought the biggest names in showbusiness to the big top on Merseyside have been scrapped.

Leading city politicians, grappling with a difficult spending budget, have decided that an injection of up to £750,000 of council taxpayers money into the showpiece event is too much to shoulder.

Instead the council will concentrate on revising plans for the Pops from next year when the new arena at Kings Dock will be brought into use.

I've always thought this event was a joke anyway,any proper city would have the big stars appearing all year round.We need to stop refering to ourselves as a music city if we can't attract the big names on a regular basis.I'm still not convinced our new arena can achieve this for us,we don't want The Australian Pink Floyd we should be getting the real deal,sorry for using them to make my point Kev.
