VERY BE CAREFUL (L.A. - USA - Downtown Pijao Records)
After 10 years of performing around the world, Very Be Careful are en
route to play at Glastonbury Festival after stopping in at Django's
Riff to give us a taste of their self professed "booty-shakin
firestorm" vallenato Latin style! After sharing stages with acts such
as Joe Strummer,Carlos Viva, Murphy's Law, Antibalas, Kronos Quartet,
and Groupe Niche we are honored to have them play ours! This is not a
show to be missed!

A staggering 10 peice band. ROSB deliver fast Rio Samba and the latest Samba-Funk grooves with
power and authenticity. Touted as one of the best Latin outfits in the
country!

Blood and Fire Soundsystem (Blood & Fire Records)have
toured the world over for nearly a decade bringing with
them the sounds of Ranking Joe, U Brown, Dillinger and
many more. Blood & Fire Records itself is prolific, offering
cuts by huge reggae heavyweights including King Tubby,
The Congos, I Roy, Horace Andy and so much more!
Blood & Fire will be going head to head with Mr. BEEJ from York
who will be performing a live laptop mash up set and
local reggae champs DJ’s & MC’s Rockers II Rockers.
PLUS live sets from Django’s own reggae/soul/hip-hop act
F.O.E! If you haven't caught their dance-floor shaking show
yet your in for a treat. As if all that wasn't enough to get you
skanking we welcome the legendary MC Kwasi to the mic!
Kwasi is currently touring as part of the live show for hip-hop
maestros Aim.

SUNDAY SLUDGE-A-THON presents...
NOSTALIGA 77 - DJ set (Tru Thoughts)
Nostalgia 77 need no introduction. With remixes for Quantic Soul
Orchestra and DJ Format, a clutch of critically acclaimed releases
and collaborations with the likes of Alice Russell and TM Juke,
Nostalgia 77 have been firmly making their mark in the realms of
Nu-jazz and world music. Nostalgia 77 will be performing a world music
set to close out the festivities along side the best DJ talent
Liverpool has to offer!
