wow. amazing thread....

It's strange, cos I seem to be following the Beatles trail!
I lived in Hoylake around the corner from Garmoyle road, I went to Dovedale School where George and John went, and I also lived in Admiral Grove where Ringo lived!!

Brilliant thread..

Thanks Gerard.

So my friend was right about GH living in Macketts Lane.
He remembered George and his motorbike.

Great stuff Gerard. As you know, i've been priveledged enough to see these photies of yours before - thought it was a Western Approaches style secret though - hope you haven't knocked your idea in the head mate?

Gerard good photies, most of places not usually covered. How did you discover Julia's unmarked grave?

Gerard I am currently creating a Sgt Pepper montage to mark the 20 years since the demolition of the Gerard Gardens. If you would like to be in it, send me a head & shoulders shot (full length is okay, I can edit it), preferably a pic from before the squares were demolished.

gardensofstone@fsmail.net

If you any old photies of residents who also wouldn't mind being included, they would also be welcome.

I hope to publish the finished montage next week.
