Call me brown nose or anything you like, but i want to give Kev praise for the great job he does in keeping the forum up and running. Its one of the only forums i have stayed on, mainly because you can have a laugh here, see great pics and read great info. when the old forum moved to here nearly all the members came along, says loads of what they think of Kev that does

The recent post on the Photograph threads are getting out of control. ok everyone is entitled to voice their concerns, i think everyone has. but there now seems no way to to end it all. do we really want members leaving or being blocked for periods of time, i mean c`mon do we? things have been said and nothing can change that now, but please everyone can we put it to one side. i dont see any reason why anyone should leave. if you have too then cant you ignore eachother for the sake of the forum, hopefully you can all get along.

If it is going to carry on then i might off the pop as its not fun like this. and Kev does not do this for a living so he may decide to go, and then what? no forum is that what we want?

Im not writing this to tell anyone what to do, i just want you to know what it looks like to me, its sad to see you all not getting along. im just a member of a forum that i dont want to loose.

please people try and find a solution.

please feel free to add witty remarks on this thread( i Know Ged will )
but please dont c`mon here arguing.

I personally don't care if an old picture of Clayton Square is torn in the top left hand corner or if pervefessional Dave or Pete has taken and up to date now version with the new Japanese tea making camera (2 sugars please)

I think you's are all legends in your own dinner hour and long may everyone feel welcome to post anything no matter what the state of it, especially if it's a long lost scene where it's better than nothing.

If I wanna be nagged at, I can turn this off and sit on the couch with - (no, better not say it)

I also want to thank Kev for his work on this forum. Yesterday's nonsense was yesterday's nonsense. I posted a message hoping we could all get along and today it was made clear that some people have a very personal issue with me. Theres not much I can do about that. I hope things do get better and that the personal attacks stop. Its not exactly the kind of thing people want to see when they join up. To tomorrow

No, it's of the old Stanley Hospital that was on Stanley Road off the kirkdale history website.

I'd rather see that as it is than not at all.

My fixing up of it would only be something crude like saving it in paint and painting in the missing bits

I totally misread that to read 'I love the kids on the bonnet of the car' so I had to re-click on the pic and I had my eyes one inch from the screen saying bloody hell Tony's eyes are good, I wonder if he can zoom it up bigger or something. Yesterday was yesterday. You haven't said anything to me today so I don't have a problem with you today. I didn't name names as I don't want this to escalate. I have made it perfectly clear that we ARE moving on and that now I have no issue with you, unless you persist.
