The research must have been done some time ago Kev, a lot has now been redeveloped - the fire station for one. The worst they could find in Garston was the Gas tank? They must have been driving around with their eyes shut. My son is taking A-level Art and the subject has been "decay". He has been going around with his camera and getting some shots of the local area (no shortage - as you know). I found it really sad to remember the bustling, busy shopping area of Garston village and see it now for what it has become. The really sad part was - I, and many others, have now become so used to the decay and dereliction around us that we do not notice it any more - why do we have to put up with our main shopping thoroughfare in the state that it is? Our councillors wrote to everybody in our vicinity a little while ago about landscaping Horrocks Avenue - very worthy and yes we should have landscaping and trees like everyone else - but a short walk away there are buildings with trees growing out of them - being set on fire daily by yobs - opposite the Church the shops have been empty for the last 6 years and only now are they getting around to demolishing them - the Echo needs to catch itself on.

No! How can Stanley Dock be featured on that list? The Heritage Market maybe, but the rest of the dock is fantastic!
