In conjunction with Lee Jones' - Paul Sudbury is screening his well received film documentary at 2pm on Thursday 19th April (this week) - Admittance by free numbered ticket by contacting Lesley Black on 207 1984. There are a few local people of note attending.
Lee Jones' will also be showing their photograph archive http://www.bbc.co.uk/liverpool/conte..._feature.shtml and my model of Gerard Gardens will also be on show. Paul was on the Billy Butler show today detailing further prospective events for the future. There will also be a number of souvinir items on show (many have been requested and pre-ordered - these are pictured below) An article with Paul and David Charters will appear in tomorrow's Daily Post. These can be ordered from Bernie at Inscript, 2 Victoria Street or email inscript@fsmail.net I believe Frank Carlyle also mentioned Gerard Gardens on his local history show with Snelly today, quite unrelated to our events after a number of listeners had contacted him so it seems it's currently in the local news quite a bit.

Pinged to me by the Scottie Press and going out in the official Lee Jones newsletter.
Gardens of Stone at the ‘Lee Jones’ On Thursday 19th April people from far & wide descended on Lee Jones’ to watch Paul Sudbury’s film and see Ged Fagan’s amazing model of Gerard Gardens. Some of the audience was there to see it again (some for the 4th time!!) while for others it was their first opportunity to relive the construction and then demolition of the Gardens through the personal memories of the Sudbury family and friends. Paul’s film is amazing and Ged’s model is just out of this world. We’re hoping to show the film again one evening. So if anybody missed it keep an eye out for future dates. A big thank you to everyone who made the afternoon so successful, especially Ron Formby for all his hard work. Lesley Black Lee Jones Centre
