Hi
use photobucket. Upload your resized pic,s, 800 x 600 to photobucket
then if you look at the pic you will see 3 entries, copy the IMG entry
then in your message paste the entry and voila, your pic
Hope this helps

Well Folks ,I've got to report abject failure in the photo download department. I uploaded them to Photobucket, and then followed the instructions got as far as the uploading to Post Reply, pressed Upload button and then was told that the file could not be uploaded. I have tried non stop for the past 3 hours. P.C. is about to go out of the window,..........I think I'll stick to writing,
Bye now,

Brian, are you sure your images are resized smaller ?
Usually if they are too large they won't upload onto the forum.
Make sure you select 'message board' size - or even Web-site/e-mail size ( which is quite a bit smaller).
Don't worry, you will get there eventually.
Using the forum attachments facility - you can, at a push, use a photo that hasn't been resized smaller - - it's just that it takes much longer to upload. (A smaller one will go on immediately)
In a reply post, click on 'manage attachments'
then 'browse' and select the image you want from your documents.
then click 'upload' - - a prompt will tell you that an image is uploading - wait a few mins then the code will get tagged onto the bottom 'current attachments'
You can now remove that browser box and you can click ''submit reply' on your forum post.
Have another try Brian. Don't forget, if you want post a photo directly onto a post you need to copy & paste the link - following the instructions I sent you, you should be able to do it ok via your photohost.
Also, don't delete your images that you have stored in your photohost - if you delete them they will also disappear from the forum ! :)
The benefit of using the 'Manage Attachmets' facility is that the photo will remain there even if you do delete it from your host.
Hope this makes sense !
There were some other members here having problems and unable to post images - so it may be a blip on the board and not you who is doing anything wrong.

On photo bucket you uploaded your resized image, 800 x 600 did you
and it appeared in your folder. At the bottom of the pic are 3 lines
you select the last one img and copy. On the group you press reply to
a message enter your text the paste the img info, click check post before
sending. If you like Lindy rightly says use the groups attache, fine it just
takes up server space, and really is the lazy way of adding a pic, bound to get flamed :-)
