THE largest cannabis farm ever uncovered in south Liverpool was found after reports of a fire in a terrace house.

Neighbours on Duncombe Road South, in Garston, smelt the pungent aroma of cannabis fill the air at around 2.30pm on Tuesday.

Can't the landlord say to the police who he rented the place out to?

I've seen raids like that in Anfield. Houses being rented purely for cultivating the plants. The cheek of them renting terraced houses next to families :disgust:

I saw the police at a small 2 up 2 down house emptying the place and putting loads of plants and equipment in the police van. The doors were wide open and you could see the inside of the house was covered in silver foil.

I saw this at the back of a local shop too.
In the past there have been raids on three main shopping roads in Anfield and various terraced houses.

There must be loads of these places all over - you never know what is behind closed doors.
