Excellent Chris, cheers for the link.
About time Liverpool had a skate park. The Rathbone Park one didn't really capture the interest way back. Thins are very different these days, my little lad is mad on the Xbox360 game 'skate' and wants one for his birthday!

Sounds great news for the kidz. As long as they don't start charging the earth for kids to use it.:PDT_Piratz_26:

There was a small skatepark by the Edge Lane retail park but is now gone, Only the Skate Pit remains to this day.

Rathbone failed when BMX died in the late 80s, didn't it?
A good example of an outdoor park is Warrington. The bowl at Bootle isn't bad, but the council need to listen to experienced skaters and BMXers, otherwise they'll build something that is useless (metal ramps, for example, are just no good).
