Has anyone heard anything further on the rumour that Everton may be bought by Russia's richest man, who is now in jail?
His empire is still rolling and he may be out soon, suing the Russian government who took some of his assets.
With our history and current pedigree - 5th on a shoestring budget. It's about time someone saw something in us when the likes of no marks are getting foreign investors buying in, mind you, with little success.

Would I want Everton to be the plaything of a billionaire like at Chelsea. No. I want Kenright away as he hasn't much of a clue. But no billionaires from Russia.
The sacking of Grant was a joke. The man was whisker away from the title and a slip by Terry on saturated grass form the Euro Title. If Terry had no slipped he would still be in the job. If the ref had given Wigan the penalty they should have had he would have still been there.
A club has to be well run and done in a business manner.

So Man U owned by Americans
Chelsea by a Russian
Man C by a Thai
Liverpool by Americans soon to be Arabs
Portsmouth by a Russian
Everton by a Russian?
Aye but with Abramovich's millions, Mourinho won 6 trophies at Chelski, isn't it worth it then?
They've been propelled as if by magic from their last league win in the 1950s to back to back prem titles and runners up and the CL final, I don't think you can dismiss what real money can do for your club.

He has no chance of the top job at Chelsea, but may get the Everton job soon.
