i posted query yesterday but it ended up in entertainment.can anyone give me any info about a swim across the mersey in aug.its in rememberance of somebody.i was sent a picture and write up from the echo last year. any info much appreciated.

Liverpool is getting more and more continental every day, reminds me a bit of spain........ " don't drink the water " sounds like a good event

You mean the swim from last August ? and or a forthcoming one ?

There are often swims for charity in the Mersey and there is always one on Boxing Day in the dock. Usually for Cancer research.

I think Charlie means the "Cross Mersey Swim". I think it comes under Open Water events. Does anyone know who organises it?

re swim across mersey in aug.barry clarkson found me an article from daily post last aug.the swim is on again aug this year.a name in the article was liam hanlon .he is evidently organising the swim this year.any help to anybody.
