liverpool4eva I am offended by your avatar, The USA promotes freedom of all religions in accordance with its constitution.

Shoney, The constitution of the American republic, unlike most other constitutions guarantees freedom of religion. If you knew anything about our constitution you would understand why I and others are offended by this avatar.

Not that I've got any time for religious fundamentalists - whether Christian, Islamic or whatever but I'm sure there are many moderate Muslims who equally take offence at constant disparaging American references to the Qur'an. I recently read an item in which an FBI official referred to it as a "terrorist document". Just Google the word and you'll see what I mean!

PS More wallpapers can be found here (http://www.yoliverpool.com/forum/showthread.php?t=1239).

I just googled that Howie and couldn't find it. Perhaps you could put up a link to it, I would really like to read it.

There's plenty of references to the Qur'an as evil, satanic, unholy etc. from American sources. I'll try and find the FBI one again and post the link.

I've just had a look through my browser history but can't find it. He'd picked up on passages about instilling terror into hearts of unbelievers and warfare being ordained, etc. I'm sure you could do similar with the Bible if you looked hard enough.

To be fair, this FEMA training vid refers to Christians and the founders as terrorists. Police states just hate everyone, I'm afraid. Plus the US State Department just labelled parts of the Bible as anti-semitic hate speech IIRC.
