to get there take the ferry to birkenhead and then it's a
short walk or better still get on the tram (£1.20 return). its a great experience.

I went there & the Birkenhead grasshopper about 12 years ago & don't know why I've never been back as the kids really enjoyed it

yeah that's the one. my dad often mentioned it but we never got there. I'd been saying for years I'd go but summat always cropped up. shame it's closed.

although I miss the large objects museum more.
