Well, after much messin' about and an afternoon of fart 'arsin' around, u now have the new forum, complete with a plethora of new features.

The best bits are:

If you go into your User CP area, there is the option of photo albums, just like facebook. [Click on my profile and u will see my first album]

You can add friends like in facebook.

You can message someone without PMing them.

Threads can now be tagged with key words.

Attachements open up using a smart new attractive method.

Are you and the mods going to give any lead to the creation of any "Social Groups" or are you just going to let them spring up naturally.

I'm not sure how they work to be honest. Would you have for example a "Dingle" social group and a "Garston" social group or is that too specific. I don't suppose there is much point when there is already a subforum for a subject?

What about a "Website Design" group?

Also what about Tags. Is there any point in trawling through old posts and tagging them. It would be useful but what a mammoth task.

I see you can tag other peoples threads not just your own. That surprised me a bit.

The tags enable members to add 'key words' to their threads, which help search engines index the site. They also help people search within the site for popular words....

can u post a screenshot?

What's that? :eek:

When u have an error message, look at your keyboard and press 'print screen'. This takes an image of your screen.

Open up an art package, Photoshop etc, paste it there and save the image as a screen grab.

That would show me the problem u are having.

I have uploaded 5 pics yesterday but the tag box only appeared on 1 pic as I
was uploading them ?

I have sent pms to Kev, ADW, Ged and John - not receiving any replies up to now.
The only member I have been able to contact is Pasha and that's because we are using the 'replies' facility under the old pm system. :neutral:

How can I stop 'fun and games' appearing?, I didn't get it before the change and I can't see any way to block it.
