Hello from Ottawa, Canada
Hello everybody, I grew up on Caird street (deceased), right by Mill Road hospital (also deceased), where I was born. Just around the corner from Grants Garden's, and the Everton Brow. My first school was Steer Street in Everton, the same as Paul McCartney's dad. When they knocked down the inner city, we were sent out to Cantril Farm housing estate. The first house I'd lived in with an indoor toilet, and a bath. incidentally, Cantril Fram was no rural escape, it was a concrete jungle, soon to be labelled 'cannibal farm', some bus drivers refused to go through it. I moved up to Scotland in '83, and have been living in Canada since '86. Fortunately we have a Liverpool Supporters club here in Ottawa, and I had the best football experience outside of Liverpool on May 25th, when we lifted the European cup for the 5th time. To be with like minded people in an Irish pub for that experience was great. Hopefully we'll all get to know each other through this forum. Thanks to Kev for putting it together. Bye the way, I am married to a wonderfull Canadian woman from Saskatchewan, and have a blended family of 7 kids. I work with a local school board, with special needs kids.
